Cadu Polazzo Gives Tips for Sports training

 

After a season with different competitions of high physical and technical level, it is finally time for amateur and professional athletes to rest deservedly of the championships and events that participated in the course of 2015. But what about training?

How to enjoy parties and rest from high-level fights without losing your hard-earned fitness during the year? What’s the secret of getting ready early next season? Cadu Polazzo-Trainer of the Brazilian Mountain Bike Team and Master in Exercise Physiology and Sports Training-gives the recipe. See below:

Profile Of Each Athlete

“Before we think of the tips it is important to note that there are two different profiles that are most common among athletes. The first one is usually the professional, who continues training even in the coming dates of Christmas and New Year and even dedicates more to training for having more free time. The second is usually the amateur, who stops on the 24th and 25th December and the 31st of December and the 1st of January, and prefers to use the period to rest or enjoy the holidays and family. This is the most common.”

Excesses And Little Sleep. What To Do In The Day?

“Heavy foods and poorly-slept nights can directly affect the athlete’s pace during training.My suggestion is moderation. Avoid exaggerations. However, if you have exaggerated anyway, when you return to training, it is no use to be flustered or in a hurry to want to recover. Start with a light load and slowly raise the level. In this way the athlete avoids further wear and tear further.”

Do You Need To Get Up Early The Next Day?

“The recommendation is to be careful about the day after the holiday season. Normally in this period the athlete slept less and ate more than normal. My suggestion is to let you wake up a little later and hydrate yourself a lot. The ideal is to start moisturizing two to four hours before training.”

Avoid Total Pause

“The total pause is not the right vacation. However, if you still choose it, it is important to be aware of resuming training slowly to avoid injury. To make a comparison, if a person stops for 14 days, it can take up to 1 month to resume the pace that was”.

To Rest You Do Not Have To Stand Still…

“Enjoy the holidays to do a different activity and relieve the stress of training. Hiking, running, volleyball, swimming are sports that can help keep fit and still entertain the athlete in the rest period.” And ther is a good sports watch for you. But This Period Is Very Important

“This period is fundamental to recharge the energies, to see the relatives and to celebrate the year that has passed. I think everyone should attend as long as it is in moderation.The important thing is to watch with food, to look for pleasurable activities to take away the stress and to return gradually-in a light and safe rhythm-to guarantee the best result”.
